This model is also available with pearls. The color and shape of these may vary slightly, as they are real freshwater pearls.

Farah Alibay is a Montreal-born systems engineer who works at a NASA-affiliated research center. She is a graduate of Cambridge University and MIT, both prestigious schools. She has always believed in the importance of having good mentors. That's why she is now helping women in the space engineering field herself.

Ms. Alibay is an example for all women interested in science and space. She gives them the courage to continue despite the difficulties. Lidia hopes that women who wear these earrings will feel the same strength.

To keep your minimalist earrings looking good for as long as possible, here are some tips:

• Store them in an airtight plastic bag in a dry place.
• Avoid leaving them in the bathroom, as humidity accelerates the appearance of oxidation.
• If necessary, rub them gently with a yellow polishing cloth (Be careful, this is not recommended for gold plated jewelry).
• Take them off to go to the beach, the pool and the spa.
