When she arrived in Quebec in 1989, Nahid Aboumansour discovered that her diplomas obtained in Lebanon were not recognized here. So she started volunteering and founded the social integration business Petites-Mains, which integrates unemployed immigrant women by offering them professional training.

Ms. Aboumansour has helped many women break the isolation, find a job, and get out of poverty. Lidia wanted her to be one of the women honoured in her new collection.
